I swear I had an Estée Lauder one called instant facial
But I can’t find it in my local boots
That one was nice

But any cheaper ones would be handy

Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Purifying Cleansing Wash

(The white bottle)

GettingStuffed · 13/01/2022 21:25

Nip & Fab vitamin c scrub. I've only just started using g it but it seems fab

mogkat · 13/01/2022 21:31

St Ives Apricot Scrub. Have used it for years, have tried others but always come back to this one.

SockFluffInTheBath · 13/01/2022 21:34

I have a soap & glory body scrub that I use on my face Blush it’s really, really gritty though and I like it. I think it’s called the scrub of your life and it’s cheap as you like.

BbqFanatic · 13/01/2022 21:36

Highly recommend Strictly Professional facial exfoliant

Inmypjsagain · 13/01/2022 21:37

Acid toners only for me- Ren or Pixi glow tonic. Marks and Spencer do an exfoliating toner that’s great as well

WellTidy · 13/01/2022 21:39

Pixi glow tonic, at the moment.

I really like the Elemis facial exfoliator though. Really gentle but so lovely to use.

whattodo2019 · 13/01/2022 21:44

Sand and Sky. It's amazing

caprimoon · 13/01/2022 21:48

Inkey oat cleansing balm.

Zara445 · 13/01/2022 21:58

acid toner - the ordinary is fab! Gets great reviews and really brightens up my skin

TheMagiciansNiece · 13/01/2022 22:14

A rough towel

Milomonster · 13/01/2022 22:17

Apri scrub - used it for years. Followed by Nip And Fab extra strength glycolic pads. I only do this once a week, but my skin looks lovely for makeup.

Informeddecision · 13/01/2022 22:24

Pixi glow tonic

LouLou198 · 13/01/2022 22:38

@LovelyYellowLabrador Instant facial is by Clinique. Not sure if they still make it though.

fantasmasgoria1 · 13/01/2022 22:45

Have a read of this - while it plugs Beauty Pie products, Marcia is the woman behind BP and Bliss and has spent decades working in skincare.

I'd be avoiding St Ives at all costs, a quick Google will show that there are issues with their approach to exfoliation. I also wince at using "scrub of your life" on your face!

Sunshineandrainbow · 14/01/2022 07:55

St Ives oatmeal scrub
Also like an exfoliating powder from waitrose basic beauty range and similar from body shop.

RenGreen · 14/01/2022 07:56

Be careful with your face it doesn’t need grainy scrubbing. You need an acid based toner to put on after face wash and then use factor 50 everyday

BusterGonad · 14/01/2022 11:19

St Ives oatmeal. Only once a, week though as I think too aften is harsh on your skin.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 14/01/2022 11:20

Revolution glycolic scrub. Only do it once a week and it's quite gentle. It's as good as an Elemis one I was using but a third of the price!

Gonnagetgoing · 14/01/2022 11:53

Right now - I'm using Upcircle Coffee Face Scrub - I think I got the citrus blend for dry skin.

Before that I used Simple face scrub and when that ran out I just got a Boots Tea Tree scrub as I'm not sure about glycolic ones.

I do use a Una Brennan Vit C Face Wash though.

I know it’s bad Blush I have a couple of acid toners and they don’t cut it on my thick oily skin, they’re probably much better for people without dragon skin!
