Getting a foundation colour matched in the pandemic

Hi all,

Any tips on getting colour matched in person in the pandemic? Did it once with no7 in boots I think just before the pandemic but it seems they have changed formulation and Warm Ivory not longer looks like it used to.
Would also want to take my teenage daughter to get hers done too.

Fed up with wasting money on foundations that are the wrong colour!

Il makiage do an online quiz which is meant to be very good at matching?

I just got mine from Il makiage, its a very good match.

I went to a department store, just pulled my mask to one side whilst they colour matched, the shop assistant was wearing a mask. I have the new Charlotte Tilbury one, it’s lovely and a brilliant colour match.

I bought the new Lisa Eldridge foundation. There was a foundation marcher on the site, but also option to buy samples at a very reasonable price (2£ for a card with 4 colours).

I've just booked the John Lewis Beauty Service. Hoping I can walk put with the perfect foundation

On the Bobbi Brown website you can speak to them and upload a photo of yourself and they'll recommend a colour. It's been perfect for me!

If you have a foundation that matches then try the findation website and then try it out in store?

@Zeldaaa what do you think of the foundation, if you don't mind me asking? The samples are out of stock in my shade so I'm going to wait but it would be interesting to know what it's like.
