Hair wax for boys

What is a good hair wax or styling product for a young boys shortish hair. It's more for tidying and styling than a fashion statement before anyone jumps on me!!

I’ve tried loads and keep going back to the Schwarzkopf Glue gel. The yellow tube.

It’s sticky as hell though, but the only thing that’s holds.
