What pricey beauty products are not worth it?

I don't mind paying for expensive products as long as you get what you pay for. From your experience what expensive products aren't worth how expensive they are, and why? I usually like Loccitane stuff but I got the verbena deodorant and it's useless, I'll be sticking to my usual Boots buys for deodorant.

I agree with others re Olaplex. Very expensive, even if it worked tbh as the tiny bottles don't go far. I'd rather shave my head than pay out for that regularly cheapskate).

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream. I don't even know what it's meant to do! What is it? Nobody knows. OK, someone probably knows, but I do not.

Benefit they're real mascara. Very meh.

Not a product, but a treatment; eyelash extensions. I don't like how they look and they are an absolute pain to maintain. They also can damage one's lashes. All in all it's a massive no for me, although I used to get them done all the time. Also tinted or drawn in eyebrows (on me). I look really weird and unnatural with big brows.

I've sworn off expensive make up now as well as I'm trying very hard to save money this year. The only expensive thing I really rate is Mac kohl eyeliner and if I find a cheaper option, I'll probably switch

The pp just reminded me of another expensive item not worth the price, the Nars tinted lip balm.
I paid £24 for it {after reading good reviews}
You hardly get any product, as it's a balm, it kind of melts onto the lips, so you end up using the product quickly.
It wasn't that it was rubbish, not at all, it just wasn't worth the price. I got exactly the same look using some of my lanolin balm then blotting a pink lipstick over the top, literally no difference!
