Need a wedding guest dress

Going to my one of my best friends wedding at the end of March.

It's a small 30 people wedding but I want to look fabulous but am struggling to find a dress and shoes.

I've recently lost 7 stone and am now a size 16 - 18. I've got a curvy figure with big boobs (36h) small waist and a flat, saggy bum. Oh and I've got really flabby bingo wings so would like a sleeve.

I love the style of dress in the pic attached but don't think it's right for the wedding. I'm struggling to find something that would be fabulous but not too over the top - if that makes sense.

Shoes need to be lowish, would probably change after the dinner to my trusty sparkly fitflops so I can dance the night away.

Budget is around £150 - 200 but would be happy to spend much less.

small print patterns like this one are super slimming, has a pull in waist as you mentioned you have a small waist so will draw attention there and has sleeves for the area you mention you are a bit more conscious.

I do just love the style of it too anyway.

not sure if that kind of print is your thing though, if not I love things like this so I will keep looking lol!

for shoes, block heels are of course waaay more comfy than stiletto heels and I thought the strapping was a bit more of an interesting touch than just the barely there

Well done on the weight loss. That is such an achievement. I am going to a wedding next month, and a size 18. I found a fabulous dress at Anthropologie in the sale , so only £39.00. Meant I could buy a coat too!. I think 16-18 is the hardest size because it straddles standard and plus size. Anthropologie sell lots of their clothes in plus size, and their clothes tend to be generous so I think a 16 will be fine.
The dress I got is a thick cotton dress in a wonderful colour, it is so well made., but they don’t have that in a small enough size for you!

I don’t think the picture toy attached would be good with big boobs.

@Candyss I love that dress! I will have to order it and try on. Only thing I'm worried about is the skirt being quite full, I think it might make my hips look big? I like the shoes too but I think I might need to try and find a similar pair with a lower heel as I am a liability with anything high.

I've had a look at the Anthropologie website and I do like the dresses so may order a couple for a try on too, thanks @Zebracat.

My usual go to shops would be plus size but I've got more options now but I just don't know of any other brands that might have something special. Plus I just don't know what suits me anymore!

I like the Monsoon dress too @GettingStuffed. I find Monsoon come up quite big and would go for a 16 but that dress is sold out in that size.

I like this one too in monsoon but maybe it is a bit too bridesmaidy?
