Birthday gift

I've generously been given £1250 for my birthday and I was thinking of getting a nice watch/jewellery/something else with it? I have lots of bags and got a new one for Xmas so would avoid that but can anyone suggest a starting point? Every time I look I get a bit overwhelmed with it!

I guess the starting point is do you want an item you will wear on a daily basis, or something that is a ‘special’’ you will bring out for occasions? That decision will inform some other choices.

Van Cleese & Arpels will probably have a few jewellery pieces in your budget. Alternatively, you could commission a bespoke item from an independent. I know nothing about watches.

Something else I would consider is a classic piece like a beautiful coat.
