We've been using really cheap hand washes the last while so I'm willing to splash out once and buy something expensive if it's really amazing and luxury. What's the most beautiful smelling hand wash you know of?

Neom or Plum and Ashby

MustLikeCats · 12/01/2022 13:40

Aesop’s Resurrection. It lasts ages, too.

Wondaa · 12/01/2022 13:42

Another vote for Neom- gorgeous stuff! Their hand creams are wonderful too.

UpEarly · 12/01/2022 13:45

Aesop is wonderful. I treated myself to it and now don’t want to go back!

Inmypjsagain · 12/01/2022 13:45

Byredo- Suede, lovely and the scent really lingers. Best of all the ones I’ve tried (just a shame their body wash fragrance isn’t as long lasting!)

I’ve just ordered a Dior handwash which I have high hopes for.

Diptyque do a lovely exfoliating hand wash too but I wouldn’t say it’s wonderful smelling, but does make your hands feel lovely.

Penhaligon’s Elizabethan Rose hand and body wash

Beamur · 12/01/2022 13:48

It's not hugely expensive but I like Liz Earle's Orange Flower blossom handwash. Gentle on the skin too.

Scoose · 12/01/2022 13:54

I love l'occitane verbena hand wash

ShangPie · 12/01/2022 15:47

Ortigia Sicilia do amazing scents and the packaging feels very luxe - I keep the boxes for my shelf dressing table. It’s not cheap but lasts ages and the scent lingers. I like the Orange Blossom one

Gloved or Aesop

Pontypandytaxpayer · 12/01/2022 15:55

Cowshed ones are nice and not as expensive as some others.

doadeer · 12/01/2022 16:12

Nice mid range one would be Rituals. And they do refills

ShirleyPhallus · 12/01/2022 16:13

Aesop

chillydownwiththefiregang · 12/01/2022 16:14

Another vote for Aesop.

SandysMam · 12/01/2022 16:16

Not overly expensive but soap and glory hand washes are absolutely lovely. Rich creamy lather that smell nice and leave hands clean and soft.

NewYearEveryYear · 12/01/2022 16:21

I have highly reactive skin (it hates pretty much everything) and though we have Aesop in our guest bathroom as I like it in principal, the one I enjoy using the most is This Works, Stress Check.

cheeseismydownfall · 12/01/2022 16:25

Not expensive but my favourite ever fragrance is M&S Calm range. It is just a quintessential spa smell. Love it

BringMeTea · 12/01/2022 16:58

&Other Stories is very good and not very expensive. Smells nicer than my aesop.

Takeitonthechin · 12/01/2022 17:24

Milton Brown

Takeitonthechin · 12/01/2022 17:25

Sorry it was supposed to say Molton Brown

I love this hand wash. I'm not sure if it falls into luxurious range but I think it's great.

ABitOfAShitShow · 12/01/2022 22:17

Penhaligons Savoy Steam or Diptyque Eau des Sens. Hands down. The former is a little bit more drying though.

LookdeepintotheParka · 12/01/2022 22:38

I mostly use soap for hand washing but the Liz Earle Orange blossom one mentioned up thread is gorgeous. I often buy it for presents or as a treat for ourselves if it's on offer! It has a really long lasting scent on your hands and is non drying.

Yes lifebegins , my mum was actually childhood friends with the CEO of Scottish Fine Soaps. They recently donated a lot of toiletries that would have gone to hotels during COVID to the custody suite at Govan police station as a lot of the women arrested there are in a bad way.
And their soaps are lovely!
