UK Teeth Whitening Crest whitestrips

I am looking for a bit of advice from people that recently bought Crest whitestrips from UK Teeth Whitening.
I bought "Crest 3D Professional Effects Whitestrips LUXE" ,I am on day 5 but so far I am not noticing any major difference.
The reviews on their website are mixed,if you bought from them before and had good results...can you specify which product you have used? there are so many varieties of Crest strips! Also, how many days after starting using them have you noticed a difference?
My teeth are just slightly sensitive after using the strips,I use them as recommended for 30 minutes and I use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth.

I got them. On day 6 and zero difference. I'm starting to think dud batch because as far as I'm aware you should see a difference by now?

I think the American ones are what people rave on about here. Apparently, can’t buy them in the UK (or are these the same ones you are using?).

jasysbutton · 12/01/2022 13:44

Apparently the ones from UK Teeth Whitening are American strength. I've always heard such positive reviews from friends and family too so I'm disappointed. Day 7 today still no difference. Its the professional affects LUXE I have too as I'd read they are the good ones. Maybe need to do full 20. However from what I've read/heard we should see a difference by now!

@jasysbutton The crest supreme whitestrips are the professional dentist strength ones

Snorkmaidenn · 12/01/2022 14:28

Crest supreme are okay, not that amazing.
I think it depends on your age.

Presuming they're the same as the US ones, they do work really well, I've used them for years on and off and make a huge difference. I order them from the US Amazon and they include the taxes etc. last week I ordered some on the Tuesday and they came on the Friday! It cost £35 which inc postage and taxes

windmill26 · 12/01/2022 17:52

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. They are supposed to be "American strength" so I am surprised that I don't notice more of a difference ...I will finish the treatment and maybe try the "supreme whitestrips" next time.

Good to know that the taxes etc .. were included .I may order them from Amazon too at this point. Any chance you could put a link of the exact ones you bought? there are so many on Amazon.

Hopefully this link works!

The US strength ones aren't allowed to be sold in the UK as their strength means they can damage the teeth. www.dentaly.org/en/teeth-whitening/best-whitening-strips/crest-whitening-strips/

I used the US strength ones years ago and they made bugger all difference.

My theory (but I might be wrong) is that they're good for removing staining, but if your teeth are yellow because the enamel has worn away for whatever reason then nothing is really going to work. I'm happy to be corrected on this though!
