Any recommendations for waterproof black boots for a 14yo girl size 6? Not doc martens as they hurt. Need to be stylish / cool although she doesn't mention brands!

Timberlands?

Waterproof as in rubber boots /wellingtons? Or wintery boots that are warm and waterproof? Blundstones are good all round boots, but I wouldn't stand in puddles for long.

ones she can wear to school in bad weather or when out with her friends.

I don’t actually know what 14 year olds consider cool but Hunter make Chelsea type boots that look good to me. I’ve seen them worn in Central London so presumably not just me that likes them. Also Sorel do a range of warm / waterproof boots. They’re a Canadian brand I believe so definitely appropriate for our climate. They run small though so check reviews for sizing if you find something there.

I also think Blundstones are good and the chunky Chelsea boots that Dr Marten do that are sheepskin lined …. Might not have the same pain issues as the classic lace ups.
