Hello, eyeing up Didriksons coats but am 5"2 and wondering if they'd be too long? I have had a Seasalt Janelle but husband hates it due to its length on me. Looking at Didriksons Mea, Anette, Erika and Ellen but can't see the lengths of them. Has anyone got one they'd recommend for a shortie? Thankyou

I have the meja parker and I'm the same height as you. I can't recommend it enough, totally waterproof, snuggly warm and it has clever elastic pulls around the waist and inside the pockets so you can tweak and style to give it the shape you want. Comes mid-thigh on me.

SoupDragon · 11/01/2022 16:52

I am 5'8" and have the Erika - it comes to just above my knees.

SoupDragon · 11/01/2022 16:54

If you look on the Didriksons website you might find the lengths. For the Erika it says Garment length: 94 cm vertically across the back from the center of the neck to the bottom edge of the garment.

I have the Luna and I am 5ft 3 and it’s a perfect length on me, just below my knees.

I have had a Seasalt Janelle but husband hates it due to its length on me.

Do YOU like it though?

I'm 5ft 2, and actually have a longer length Didriksons, I love it as it's totally waterproof and means my legs stay dry!

I have a youth one and the length is above my knees. I'm 5 foot.

Suffolkmouse · 12/01/2022 20:51

Covetingthepreciousthings, I like being warm but I admit it's not the most glamorous item of clothing and everytime I wear it, he pulls a funny face! 😂

Very had them on sale this week too.

The longer, the better id say.
A friend recommended the Erika for warmth, she got a size 40 ( is 5ft 4 )and it came just a fraction above knee height. I'm taller at 5ft 8.. and would prob need a size 40. I like the look of the Luna, its length and neck line but worry it won't be warm enough. We get pretty long cold winters where we live. Did any of you purchase the Luna or Erika?? For comparison.

il0vew1ne · 29/01/2022 10:17

I have the Luna, I am a size 12 but bought a size 40. A little big but I like that.
It is warm, I am 5ft 3inch and it comes to my knees.

I've got the Stella and I'm 5 3. It's fine lengthwise and I appreciate the warmth on my legs Grin

Perplexed at the idea of a husband thinking more of how you look to him in a coat than if you like it.

Why not wear your choice of clothes, not his?

Trenisenne · 30/01/2022 13:47

I have the Erika. 5’3” and it’s about knee length. I do feel as though the body is slightly too long, but nothing that annoys me when I wear it.
