Face cream recommendations

I have a lovely John Lewis voucher to spend and thought I might treat myself to some nice face cream. Generally my skin is combination but at the moment just feels very dry (I'm assuming cold weather, central heating etc). I've used gel creams before but not found them moisturising enough so am hesitant about Clinique moisture surge, but happy to be corrected. Budget up to about £50 but if it's cheaper I'll find something else to spend the rest on!

I use DECLÉOR Green Mandarin Vitamin Glow Day Cream with Hyaluronic Acid 50m. Currently on offerdown from £60 at lookfantastic and an extra 5% off with code 5OFF makes it £42.75. I'm sure John Lewis price match.

I recommend Nuxe Reve de miel facial balm. It does a fantastic job.

Weleda Skin Food

John Lewis will only price match shops with physical stores, and they don't do Weleda so just trying to decide between the other two.
Is the Nuxe balm better than the day cream?

I've not tried the day cream but the balm is my No1, I have dry sensitive skin and it makes it beautifully soft and is very soothing. I've currently ran out, until payday, and I'm missing it so much.

If you want to treat yourself, then I'd second the Liz Earle Superskin. I also like Neal's Yard which is stocked by JL (I like Frankincense Nourishing) and L'Occitane Divine. Lancome Hydra Zen is also beautiful, very calming.

Those are my favourite "treat" moisturizers.
Clinique Moisture Surge just doesn't do it for me. Not nearly hydrating enough.
