What colours and flowers to wear with silver wedding dress in May?

I think I have chosen a dress... but I do NOT want to wear big black chunky shoes on my wedding day, as in these photos, even though they look quite cool.

I am going being between dark green and royal-ish blue for shoes, hmm. But what about flowers?? And would a silver headpiece now look way over the top if already wearing a silver dress. Ugh my cluelessness. Please help!

Definitely silver shoes - don’t detract from the main character - you in the dress.

What colour eyes and skin tone?

My family are all red but some of us suit blues and some greens…..and that’s the colour I would put in your headdress to show off your hair - doesn’t have to be loads of colour could be like the star one you linked to with a few coloured jewels?

Flowers will be held for a short while and I think they should be warm and seasonal as going to foliagey could look at bit Christmas with the silver.

Lovely dress is that vampires wide? Also like the sparkly headers - makes me want to get married ha ha I would go pastels myself pale pink roses or the like

I like the elegant theatrical / bridal theme of the shoes @SilentBob posted - I think they would do justice right to the exquisiteness of the dress.

Someone said about eucalyptus bouquet looking a bit Christmasy...hmm, I do get that 😬 And it will be late May, so I guess there will be lots of flower choice available. My Mum keeps going on about peony roses, which I do love, just don't like the look of them all in a bouquet 🙈 I'm more into the wildflower thing. Maybe a LITTLE bit of eucalyptus, plus some in hair.

Old gimmer here who is approaching silver wedding, thinking what do people have a ceremony these days? Took me way to long to realise you meant you are going to get married in a dress that is silver rather than a dress for your silver wedding. The dress is stunning btw. Love the idea of silvery green eucalyptus and green shoes. I'll start my own thread when the time comes.

What colour are your veins on the inside of your wrist? If they look greenish you have warm skin tones and if they are blueish you have cool skin tones.

I wore a silver dress for my wedding day too OP. Love yours even more though! I had a very simple white Gerbera bouquet and silver shoes and I still look at the photos and think that combination has remained timeless & elegant all these years on (21 years this summer!).

If you have red hair go for greens and whites.

Purple or bright blue would look great. But really any colour goes with silver 😀 pink for example would also look good.
