Best nail strengthening polish

Unsure if this is the best place to post. I have recently got my nails done and they are gel only on natural nails.
I have spoke to the place that did them (always gone there and they're fab) but this one occasion, I had another nail tech do them. She was awful! I mean horrendous, they're split completely down to the very bottom (where the nail joins the skin if that makes sense?) and snapping really bad.

I've complained but little they can do now.

What's your tried and tested polish for strengthening your nails back up? The gel is still on so I need that sorted but I'm currently going round with plasters on to avoid wincing in pain constantly 😭

First get the gel off asap, then no polish, get a good nail oil, I use OPI Avoplex replenishing oil, use it often, at the very least morning and night, wear gloves if dishwashing etc. My nails were damaged by gel polish last September and like yours they were flaking, splitting and breaking. Its only now they are starting to look better. I always had good strong nails that grow fast thankfully, very seldom got gel polish, probably less than 6 in the last 10 years but it was a junior therapist that removed the polish last time and she really destroyed them. I'll never have another gel polish done, it's normal manicures occasionally from now on. Best of luck.
