Rosacea redness - products/treatments/coverups

I’ve suffered from rosacea (redness and flushing only, no pimples etc) for a number of years.
I’m considering laser surgery for the permanent redness I have, has anyone had this and if so how effective is it?
What foundations/coverups do others use? I’ve tried IT cosmetics cc cream but the shades are limiting, and find my doublewear too heavy for everyday.
This time of year is difficult as temperature changes are a trigger for me, as is having the heating on a lot. Are there any products that are instantly cooling/soothing?

I second Dr Jart and also the number 7 rip off one.

CeraVe cleanser and cream has pretty much got rid of my Rosacea ,it's amazing stuff.

I use DW applied with a brush but a very small amount, just like you would a concealer.

I use the ren sensitive skin range of night balm, serum and moisturiser. The night balm is a miracle worker, plus I've heard good things about la Roche Posay toleraine range..
