Best non underwired bra for big boobs

Nosetickle · 10/01/2022 16:00

Can anyone recommend a non underwired bra that would give good lift for big boobs (36G) if such a thing exists. I’m struggling to find a comfortable bra that doesn’t make my boobs look saggy. The only one I have that gives me a good shape has underwire and it’s so uncomfortable!

Hi OP

No advice but just giving this one a bump for you!

Iluvfriends · 10/01/2022 18:02

I loved the breast cancer? ones from tesco a few years back. Cant seem to get them now. Cannot find anything these days and I wont buy underwired.

sciencegirl91 · 10/01/2022 18:06

I’ve tried loads (am a 32F for reference) and this from m&s is my favourite www.marksandspencer.com/lace-non-wired-non-padded-bralet-f-/p/clp60451802?color=MEDIUMBLUE&prevPage=srp#intid=prodColourId-60489328
Very good value, very comfortable and just as supportive as a wired bra- really good shape under clothes

snackodactyl · 10/01/2022 20:37

I tried the Triumph Shape Smart last year, they seem to be their answer to the shapewear trend a la Skims and the like. The cups are lightly padded and have good lift in them and are non wired.

They are quite pricey but John Lewis discount them in their brand event. I recommend checking their listing on the Triumph site to identify which size is best - my 38F worked out as a Size 4 and was very accurate.

I did end up sending them back though, I’m not very confident embracing my curves Blush but it’s a very well made bra.

Youbelongherenow · 10/01/2022 20:45

So glad you started this thread OP. I would love to be able to find a supportive non wired bra that doesn’t give me a uniboob. Im going to try the Triumph and the M&S one.

woodhill · 10/01/2022 20:46

I like the M&S bralets like the one on the link

Wear them at the weekend, so supportive

Bigpinkslippers · 10/01/2022 20:52

Freedom bras. I'm 36G and the only ones I have worn for the last 2 years

snackodactyl · 10/01/2022 21:32

Have just ordered this in the Triumph sale to try out

I'm a D to E and I like Swegmark of Sweden.

LadyJJ · 11/01/2022 14:57

Not bras but Manners LDN make tops & dresses you can wear without a bra. They are pricey but soooo comfy and the quality is good. I'm a 34H

SlipperTripper · 11/01/2022 15:03

This one is BRILLIANT!

Wearing it now, with pregnant, sore boobs and they not only feel comfy but miraculously even look pretty perky!

(As perky as a H cup boob can)

Thank you for all the replies, I have a couple of m&s bralets and they are so comfortable but don’t give me a great shape so I’m not confident to wear them out. I like the look of the triumph one in the same, especially as it’s called a minimiser, but sadly it doesn’t go up to my size. Same with the m&s one linked above.

I’ve looked at the freedom bra but it doesn’t look overly supportive, unless I’m looking at the wrong one. I’d love a link if possible. I’ve ordered some from bravissimo so we’ll see what they’re like.

SlipperTripper · 11/01/2022 17:45

Sorry, I linked the wrong one!

I can definitely vouch for the larger sized version - wearing it now! :-)

Glamorise bras are brilliant op, great support without the uniboob effect. They're all I wear now.

ditavonteesed · 11/01/2022 18:18

Molke are the only proper wireless bras that I have ever found work, gives the lift of a proper bra under clothes but so comfy. Very expensive and the prints might not be for everyone but they are amazing.

happygolurkey · 11/01/2022 20:34

I like this. have spent a fortune trying to find something non-wired with decent uplift over the years and this one's the best I've found.

I've got a couple of these and they are so comfortable www.marksandspencer.com/lace-non-wired-non-padded-bralet-f-/p/clp60451802?color=BLACK#intid=prodColourId-60451803

Fallsballs · 11/01/2022 22:55

I ordered a Freedom bra off the back of another thread (similar size to you OP) and sadly didn’t find it supportive at all.

Does that M&S bralette really work @PraiseTheSunshine ?
I’m still searching for something comfy and yet I could bring the bins out wearing (with a top on over obvs 🤪)

KatharinaRosalie · 12/01/2022 06:27

I have several non wired comfortable bras, but you just can't get the same lift with them.
However, your underwired bras should not be insanely uncomfortable. Can you get a Bravissimo fitting? Or Boob or Bust pages are very helpful. Could be that another size or style in wired would be the answer.

YourenutsmiLord · 12/01/2022 06:59

I wear this as I have shoulder problems. The straps don't adjust so it fits or it doesn't. But there is limited stretch so it doesn't lose it's shape over time.
I have worn mine for yonks without having to replace, it's expensive.

PraiseTheSunshine · 12/01/2022 15:17

@Fallsballs it definitely works for me! I love the band that is sewn inside the cup, it offers good support without the wire (can't stand underwire bras these days) it's worth checking on ebay to see if you can find any on there in your size. I got one of mine new with tags for £10.

YourenutsmiLord · 12/01/2022 15:40

I love the models on the Molke website - well endowed and proud - unlike the skinny Minnie's in other ads.

Nosetickle · 15/01/2022 09:40

I’ve just received my delivery from bravissimo and of the three bras I tied my favourite is the Panache Andorra non wired full cup bra. It’s slightly too big in the 36G though so I’m going to send it back and try a slightly smaller size. But even though it’s slightly the wrong size I have got a feeling it’s going to do the job, it looks lovely and gives a nice shape under clothes.

I also ordered a Luna comfort bra and that gave great lift but separated mine too much for my liking. It was also slightly too big but I think as the other one was too big it’s more that my size has changed.

I also tried the Fantasie Jacqueline lace bra but it was way too big, could be a good bra but I’ve no idea where to begin ordering the correct size as it was so way off.

Hopefully this might help people!

Thanks for the update Nosetickle.
I have ordered the M&S one recommended by Praisethesunshine - I haven’t had any luck with M&S for years but I’m always hopeful.

I was looking this morning on the lululemon website and they do moderate/light bras for larger cup sizes. Has anyone tried one ? I thought it would be ideal for the house and yet being able to go outdoors (oh the bliss) in comfort.

They are expensive and I would try one but the faff of finding yet another mono boob maker makes me hesitant.
