What trainers?

At the weekend, I put a hole in my black Nike Internationalists, which are my current go to footwear for weekend casual stuff. I like the style and shape, but have been really unimpressed with the quality. They looked quite scruffy quickly and I've never put my big toe through the top of a trainer within 18months before!

I have small feet (size 3/4), and am looking for a black or dark coloured winter trainer. Not clumpy. I also want some arch support (not loads, but more than converse). Can anybody share any recommendations?

Air force 1 are leather, comfy and last well. There are some great weather proof Air Jordan 1 around as well called Acclimate.
I'm looking at buying Nike Everyday trainers which do come in all black but I prefer them with the white sole.

I got Internationalists last year and was quite unimpressed by them due to being slippy in wet weather.

Adidas gazelle will be my next go to for everyday I think but in black not my usual light/bright colours.

I have had internationalists in the past and loved them but I mostly wear my veja rio brancos these days. They’re a similar style. People say veja aren’t comfortable but I find the rio brancos incredibly comfy. I’m looking to get a pair in black at some point.

Thanks. Air Jordan 1s really aren't for me I'm afraid. I don't particularly like the high top profile.

@gonnagetgoing Adidas Gazelles are a good shout, thanks. I had forgotten about those, but I do like the shape. Are they comfy? I'm quite tempted by them in grey for a change.

@ivorcutler I do like the Vegas, but have heard lots about them being uncomfortable. I probably need to go and try some on and see if they suit my feet
