Hi! Am trying to cut back this year and the first to go is my monthly nail salon trip. So I am after your best not easily chipped nail polish recommendations please?! TIA

You could try Seche Vite top coat, I got it after a recommendation on Mumsnet. I find it helps to get a few more days out of my nail colour.

Your own gell lamp I think

Or those peel off varnishes so it’s easy to repair one

Buy a gel lamp and some gels, the lamp isn't expensive, it adds up a bit when you account for wipes, top coat, base coat and colours but you'll be saving before long.

Chanel is pretty hard wearing. ££ though.

Rimmel super gel. You paint on the colour then a top coat. Not a UV gel but still v v hard wearing!

Or another vote for seche vite top coat

Essie's base coat and gel effect top coat make even Poundland nail polish last a week without chipping.

Thank you all!

Maybelline 7 days does exactly that.
