I had F&M and CB which was lovely, and thought it might be interesting to see what people have tried and liked or loved.

I'll start with what I've used and liked in F&M:

Cult 51 day cream is yummy, not too heavy and yet rich
Surprised how much I like and am using the room sprays esp lime and ginger
Utterly LOVE the F&M perfume, I've not worn perfume for years but I adore this and have almost finished it
Have used and enjoyed the candel too, tho this is not something I use often, so I have no idea if it's a good one
Love the bee-embroidered makeup bag.

Anyone else? Any calendar obvs

I've nearly finished my current Elemis night cream so I am excited now to try the M&S one...this is the purple one yes?

I decided I had too many things unused from previous calendars and boxes, and budget was a bit tighter, so I gave it a miss this year and asked my husband to fill an old liberty calendar for me instead. He had full instructions and list of suggestions.

Safe to say I will be buying an advent again next year! I did get a few lovely things that I requested but the surprise was whether there would be anything in the draw at all. He also let my nine year old be in charge of some of it. Some interesting options… it did make me laugh.

I am now going to try and use all the bits up this year so I don’t feel bad getting 25 new packed things! Gutted I missed that little bee bag, might need to seek that out on eBay!

I loved the f&m calendar, the 3lab ww face cream is amazing for my skin, the cult 51s and the wildsmith.

I'd love to repurchase the 3lab but at £400 for 60 mls I may have to hope it's in next year's calendar

I gave away the items I had or was less keen on - I love aromatherapy associates but already have oils and muscle gel so regifted that. My dd adored the Bramley lip balm and spray.

From Space NK I love: Hourglass eyeshadow, Nars lipstick, Sunday Riley oil, Dermalogica cleanser, Rosi drops... to be fair the majority has been great.

From M&S I love: brown liquid eyeliner and mascara, actually the brown pencil is quite nice too, a lot more flattering than black. Also the Alpha H liquid gold rose, and I have a few other bits I'm looking forward to trying.

I still really love the Upcircle eye cream from H&B. It doesn't sting at all, and is really moisturizing. It's even keeping my eyelid eczema at bay. It'll be a repurchase once I've worked through the mountain of eye creams I have from other calendars. The Disciple face spray from H&B is also a big hit, it smells lovely and feels really refreshing. The actual spray is very good too as it comes out like a fine mist. I plan to refill the bottle with toner I already have.
From M&S, I really like the grey/brown eyeliner (the pencil one, I haven't started the liquid brown one yet) and the L'Occitane Shea shower oil smells beautiful!
@NameChangeinHaste I can get the rollerball to work but the scent doesn't last very long. I've palmed it off on DS for when he has trouble getting to sleep.

Jenjenn · 21/01/2022 21:22

M&S Prai hand cream was very nice shame it was such a tiny size. You have reminded me to order the full size. The Eyeko brown eyeliner is nice and I like the ultimate sleep cream. Aveda leave-in conditioner is good too.

We bought late teen DD the glossybox one for her birthday in mid nov, she loved 75% of the products, those she deemed “for older skin” she gave to me! We had code I think it made it £80 rather than £115

NameChangeinHaste · 24/01/2022 16:30

My surprise hit has been the Eyeko liquid liner from
M&S. My oily lids usually mean no eyeliner will ever stay in place. Hence, I never use it and am therefore a bit shot at applying it!
This one goes in beautifully and lasts all day! I’m converted!
Though interestingly, I noted that it’s a The Hut Group product. Which I’m sure just means they never run out of the things to stick in beauty boxes!
