Foundation help

Im 47 with not bad for age skin. Its slightly on the dry side but never a big problem with regular scrubs. A few cheek and nose pores are bigger than I would like and im a tad puffy undereye, but on the whole rather lucky given I haven't always taken the best care of myself.

Im brown haired with fair (but not ginger fair) skin. I cant seem to find any foundation that doesnt look masky, or have very little cover if more sheer.

So I think im after sheer, with some cover, a bit of luminosity that works on peri menopausal winter skin. Does such a thing exist?

Dont mind £££ for the right thing.

I have no advice. But I tried Charlotte tilbury Hollywood filter.

I am 39 but sound like a very similar colouring. I was assured it would give me a sheer luminosity. It didn't. It looked like I had spread highlighter all over my face.

I have been recommend chantecaille just skin or Erborian bb cream. The chantecaille is £75 though. If I go for that one, I really need to go into town and make sure I get the right colour.

Are you sure you wouldn't be better with a CC cream or BB cream?
