I’ve got £50 to spend on a wow product- help

Please!

I’ve got a £50 Boots voucher- I’m on maternity leave and money is tight. I want one product or two that will make a difference.

My skin is okay ish apart from having the life drained out if it through sleep deprivation. I’m 36, so some fine lines, not too many.

I’m thinking make up- a really great mascara, a bronzer, i already have a good eyeshadow pallette. I don’t really do lipstick because it always look is like a child has drawn it on with a crayon. I use high beam my benefit highlighter and foundation and mascara now , but I’m not sure they’re as good as they used to be- a bit style over substance. Wasn’t impressed with Nars mascara. Tried orgasam liquid blusher but didn’t love it.

Please give your one absolutely-must-have-in-your-make-up-bag product.

Benefit porefessional primer for me - I wear it under foundation and also on its own :) and also couldn't be without my eyeliner pen.

I do use that primer already- should have said. Is that a benefit eyeliner pen? Is it easy to apply?

Ah good choice! Eyeliner pen is this one, it's the only thing that actually stays on for me once it's dry - like a felt tip so I find it easier than liquid/brush pots of eyeliner and more lasting than pencils. I think it's about £9 so leaves you space for spending!

Try a lip gloss eg Clinique pop is not too glossy or similar if you don't like lipsticks as they are more subtle.

Or smashbox are good and not v expensive

I would probably go for the Revlon hot blow drying brush thing and a good mascara

Benefit Badgal Bang mascara is amazing - my 50something male boss even commented on my fabulous eyelashes when I used it for the first time (not something I’d expect from him in a million years)!

Also the Benefit goof proof brow pencil is excellent (and good brows always help if your feel a bit meh about your face).
