What’s your favourite item of clothing? And why?

Can be something you’ve only recently had or something you’ve had for ages. Currently mine is an oh so lovely, snuggly and warm long dark grey cardigan from H&M- chic it isn’t but it makes me happy every time I wear it!

@Notimetolive I've got 3. My partner buys me one every other year because they are so well worn but I still wear them. The cat when he was a kitten thought I was him Mum and would knead and suck the material when I wore it.

Brora lace edged thermal tops.
Warm, light & pretty colours. They were very expensive, but I've had them for over 10 years in a variety of styles. I wash them like Cashmere and they've been very hard wearing, plus the colours are still pristine.
The new styles are all high necked for some reason whereas mine have a deep v with a wide lace edging that are great to wear under v neck Cashmere.

My all time favourite was a long hand knitted poncho made of soft merino wool my Aunt knitted me over 20 years ago. It kept me warm in winter and cool in Autumn and Spring. Sadly I lost it by leaving it in s pub 2 years ago. My Aunt has died so can't knit me another and I can't find a similar one anywhere. Makes me sad it is gone.

This yellow velvet coat I bought in the White Stuff sale. I hardly ever wear bright colours, but I love it and it cheers me up on a grey winter day! here

My red coat bought for about £9 in New Look four years ago. I have a cupboard full of coats but this is by far the most worn. Or a red square neck midi dress which was cheap as chips from Boohoo and appears to be catnip to men.
