Ankle length dressing gown for the not yet ancient

I need a new one. My current one is ancient and hideous but its the warmest , cosisest garment known to woman kind.

Is it possible to get an ankle length, warm dressing gown and not look 118 years old?

If so please recommend.

This looks pretty warm and long. Pink or black, though not all sizes available in both colours.

I probably do still look like my Nan in it tbh, but I got mine from the Rosie range at M&S which makes me feel better

My MIL kindly bought this for me at Christmas and I love it. In fact I’m wearing it now!

Dh bought me a beautiful white waffle one from the white company but it’s just for going out to the hot tub in I wouldn’t wear it in the house (I just don’t see when you would wear one?!) but it is long and does the job of keeping me warm!

I got this one for Christmas.It's not ankle length but long enough and it's very warm and cosy. It's a duskier shade of pink than the pic and the most luxurious one I've had. I don't think I look 118 just yet but I dont really care now I've got this.

Cheapies in primark and peacocks, my last full length leaopard print fleece one from peacocks lasted around 10 years i finally gave it up for the one i posted earlier

DH bought me a cashmere one from the White Company at Christmas. It's ankle length, and essentially like a very long soft warm cardigan. I feel very glamorous in it and not embarassed to open the door to the postie.

I looked like Peppa Pig in the pink fluffy one I had before............ it was not flattering at all!

grey. I had a full length one, but walking upstairs in it with my hands full ( as they invariably are) wasn’t fun.

I have a couple from British Boxers; the quality is fantastic and they wash beautifully. They are belted rather than a zip but I buy them on the big side so I can wrap it right around me.

Depends how tall you are. Recently bought one from long tall sally but I’m 5’9 and it hits just above ankles. Also a few on m and s that are longer but quite thick

Ooh watching. I have an ancient one by Elle that looks dreadful but I keep it as it’s full length and thin but warm (made of fleece). Looking for the same again.

I tried the White Company one but it wasn’t quite ankle length and was very bulky on me compared with my current one.

I got such a thing in TKMAXX after looking for a while. It’s just above ankle length so I don’t trip over it. Mind you, I get most of my “wants” in TKMAXX after looking for a while. It’s practically a hobby.

It's our summer so not much choice in warm gowns but this is nice and shops overseas.

No, there is no such thing!
I no longer bother with dressing gowns. I have never found one I like.
The exams shown on this thread have confirmed it for me!

M&S Rosie! I sent two back to the White Company and bought this at almost a third of the price. It might not be the most glamorous but it is soooo toasty and cosy.
