It needs to be for a budget of up to £50 but really keeps you warm. I have my Christmas jumper that has done its job. Also not too big a knit as am plus size

These are amazing. Wear normal jumper on top. www.marksandspencer.com/heatgen-thermal-turtle-neck-top/p/clp22422481

Thanks @EwwSprouts - good idea to wear thermals underneath.

bigmilf what you on love?

A second hand wool one if you can’t find a pure wool one for £50. Layering up underneath is important too. Try Uniqlo.

viques · 07/01/2022 00:02

I agree with Uniqlo thermals, I usually put a silk camisole underneath them, apparently mountain / polar explorers wear silk as it wicks away body moisture while providing a naturally warm air trapping layer.

MarineBlue33 · 07/01/2022 08:37

Silk camisoles sound lovely and luxurious

Uniqlo lambs wool jumpers are £30. Add one of their heat tech tops underneath and you’ll be toasty!

Check out ebay for 2nd hand pure wool jumpers. I got an amazing fairisle knit for £32 and it's beautiful and warm.

RainbowCrayons · 07/01/2022 14:35

Also check out men's. I'm busty and find they fit better in the chest

Pasithea · 07/01/2022 14:36

Woo lovers. When I want a looser size I look at the men’s.

Charmed8 · 07/01/2022 14:46

Have you tried tkmaxx?!

They always have such a great selection of knits in there. If not then Matalan or New Look might be a great shout!

BeginningBridge · 07/01/2022 23:58

Check out the jumpers in Seasalt and Landsend. I have some lovely jumpers bought from both over the years ( warning - I am probably very dowdy compared to most on style and beauty!).

MarineBlue33 · 10/01/2022 11:53

Thank you. Didn't think of men's jumpers due to their style but will look and also the other suggestions. Am currently wearing my trusty Christmas jumper Smile

I found a lovely 100% wool jumper for a fiver in a charity shop. I also recommend trying Uniqlo heattech tops, I have a fleece turtleneck from them that I wear with a cotton T-shirt underneath and it keeps me warm.

Mundra · 10/01/2022 12:11

I would recommend secondhand pure lambswool or cashmere. They'll be warmest.
I have a fantastic fairisle knit jumper from seasalt, and it's just so toasty, I love it.

TollgateDebs · 10/01/2022 12:34

I've just bought from here and the cable jumper, currently in the sale, is very warm. It is also Made in England!

TollgateDebs · 10/01/2022 12:34

Ooops here's the link www.pauljamesknitwear.com/

MarineBlue33 · 11/01/2022 09:25

Thank you. I have now seen some second hand good jumpers on ebay so will be getting some there. Think I need v neck but could have thermals underneath
