DD Longer Length Leggings

Help.....shamelessly posting in AIBU for traffic.

dd is 10 and massively tall, but with a very slim waist. Even Next longer length in 10-11 is well above her ankles. I have tried all the major retailers, and they all hang off her waist as well as being to short.

She wants to wear black leggings for school, so I am really hoping for some Mumsnety inspiration

Ps black leggings do fall in the school uniform guidance.

My very tall slim DD likes Topshop leggings.

Can’t you get a ladies 4-6 in a tall fit? Or just a regular fit maybe?

If they are leggings they are elasticated so won’t hang off her waist.

When I say slim waist, I mean like age 7-8 waist fits her, but is obviously around her knees

Decathlon might be worth a good rummage - I get tall leggings there and got jogging trousers for my tall skinny 13 year old boy too - though I did measure him and check the labels

ASOS do adult size 4 in tall which is a smaller waist than childrens 10-11

Hi there,@disconnected1 - we're just hopping on here to let you know that we've shifted your thread over to the Style and Beauty topic and we hope the fashion gurus here can help you out with recommendations for leggings.

DD is 11, 161cm tall and borderline underweight. She uses M&S for uniform leggins.

If she would consider skinny school trousers instead M & S extra long length May do it .. though again it’s a tape measure job!

Also, if you buy high waisted leggings and they are too big round the waist, it is super easy to snip a tiny hole in the seam, pop some elastic in to the right size and sew it up. Normal waists don't have room in the waistband to alter them easily

New look tall are perfect for me (5 11”) but waist size might be a problem I think they do a size 6?

Asos tall. My uniqlo leggings are weirdly long as well.

Similarly tall and thin DD who lives in leggings. I second suggestion of Asos. Just search for tall leggings. There are lots of brands on there like New Look and Asos own brand that do very long leggings (too long for me and I'm tall with long legs) in tiny sizes. I think some come in size 4.

Well I ordered from ASOS in size 2 and they are a perfect fit.
