Elemis?

Spent some time in a spa over Christmas holiday. They did a mini session where you gave yourself a facial and they used Elemis products. It was so nice and all smelt amazing.
Is it a good brand? Is it worth the money. I'm tempted to buy the mini versions but honestly unless it's amazing it's too expensive for me. I do want to use better skincare though.

I've noticed that every spa I've been to uses it (not that I've been to that many). How expensive is it?

ivegotthisyeah · 04/01/2022 22:01

I love Elemis but here is a huge tip, buy it on QVC they often do bundles massively cheaper than anywhere else. The cleansing balm is amazing as are all the products I got on to it from my friend who is a beautician but have never bought it any where but QVC ( app is great)

StruggleStreet · 04/01/2022 22:04

The pro collagen range is really good but more money than I’m willing to spend on my regular skincare. I do use their superfood face wash a couple of times a week and that works really well for my skin (it’s suitable for oily skin)

CassieJumped · 04/01/2022 22:06

Thank you for the replies. To the second responder it varies from around £40 to £100's

Agree with @ivegotthisyeah - I also look out for Elemis deals on QVC. I love the products, but couldn't justify paying full price.

ivegotthisyeah · 04/01/2022 22:06

Not the best deals at the moment but keep checking

Nitgel · 04/01/2022 22:08

I use it all the time. Always from QVC

KiloWhat · 04/01/2022 22:09

Procollagen marine cream is nice. But I wait until the sales.

KaptainKaveman · 04/01/2022 22:11

I love elemis. The cleansing oil is a favourite, also the frangipani range for the shower. I'm always checking for QVC deals!

MissBattleaxe · 04/01/2022 22:12

It's the best skincare I've ever used but thankfully I get it as a gift ( the QVC tip is a good one. Big savings.)

MrsBrew005 · 04/01/2022 22:12

Elemis products are amazing, you really get results, and as pricey as they may seem, you really don't need a lot of the product in comparison to cheaper brands. I second qvc for good deals here and there but yeah, worth every penny in my opinion

Singingsausage · 04/01/2022 22:15

Same as the others, I use mostly Elemis and always from QVC.

HappyGirlNow · 04/01/2022 23:06

Love Elemis. I used to use the marine collagen range but now use the resurfacing one, it’s amazing, my skin is so soft and glowing!

TotheletterofthelawTHELETTER · 04/01/2022 23:29

I love Elemis. It’s done wonders for my skin. I use the pro collagen cleansing balm, soothing apricot toner and the overnight pillow plumping facial stuff.
Definitely get it from QVC, good deals and option to pay in instalments if needed.

LeQuern · 04/01/2022 23:36

Hmm. Going to go against the grain! Some of their products are lovely (cleansing balm, shower and body oils are divine) but I think their facial products are below par.

For similar prices (slightly more expensive but not excessively so) I find Decleor to be superior (also to be found on QVC sometimes).

TokenGinger · 04/01/2022 23:38

I love Elemis.

I agree with PP who suggest getting it on QVC. I always buy the bundle round December time for £50ish which includes about 7 products.

I really like the pro collagen range, particularly the cleansing balm.

However, my first purchases were the Superfood facial wash, day cream, night cream and oil. Those four products still remain my daily staple and I'd definitely recommend those to start off with.

NoNameHere12 · 04/01/2022 23:41

eBay is good too, try that

Iamthewombat · 04/01/2022 23:43

Overrated in my view. I don’t know how they justify the prices.

Theyweretheworstoftimes · 04/01/2022 23:43

QVC is great for bundles and all sorts.

Look fantastic had a pre Black Friday sale on full price. something like buy 2 get a 3rd free plus a free gift set of minis and an additional discount plus free shipping.

If you buy the products you love and use the products in the sets this can be a good way to stock up on your favourite items.

Elemis website recently had 25% off full size products and Look fantastic currently has 15% off

Netaporter · 04/01/2022 23:47

@CassieJumped I love Elemis and second looking at QVC. Also look at the Caroline Hirons website for good advice on skincare. The CH FB group is also brilliant at recommending products which don’t cost the earth and have great active ingredients such as The Ordinary/The Inkey List etc.

Bussinbussin · 04/01/2022 23:48

This is what I do. I'm happy to pay full price for the Monoi body cream and a face mask because they're the best I've ever used and they are treats I use once every week or 2 so last ages. My travel bag is stocked up with minis of the face stuff that come free with them.

Smokeahontas · 04/01/2022 23:49

They did a headache balm which was absolutely amazing. I was gutted when they discontinued it, I do a search every now and again to see if they’ve brought it back.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 04/01/2022 23:58

As PP have said the cleansing balm is really good. It’s definitely worth checking out QVC. DH brought me the 8 piece pro-collagen set for Christmas. It was a great bargain.

KiloWhat · 05/01/2022 06:31

I didn't like the cleansing balm it was too fragrances for me. The creams are nice
