Trainers for actual sport or trainers for everyday wear?

@Olliesocks

Trainers for actual sport or trainers for everyday wear?

I need new trainers for walking, so hopping on this thread

gunnersgold · 04/01/2022 18:33

I like new balance or hoka for proper walking on air !

BusterGonad · 04/01/2022 19:01

New Balance, the retro ones not the other ones.

I nominate myself as the pedant of the day.

It's Tigger. The only one.

Skechers gave me foot problems, too soft and squidgy not supportive enough apparently.

mandoforever · 05/01/2022 19:48

Asics cumulus, they even inspire me to do a little run!

Very comfy for walking.

Serenity45 · 05/01/2022 20:04

Another vote for Hoka

Usernamenotavailabletryanother · 05/01/2022 20:10

Puma future riders are fantastically bouncy.

Adidas cloudfoam or ultraboost (if you've got ££). They are not exactly style and beauty mind you (unless you count the Stella McCartney colabs which are even spender)

WellTidy · 05/01/2022 20:16

For walking, I wear sketchers Go Run. They are fabric though, so no good for when it’s raining or wet underfoot (I kick the water sitting on the pavements up and that makes my toes wet). But I’ve walked 4-8 miles every other day on mine in the past and they’ve never given me any bother. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

TheVolturi · 05/01/2022 20:21

For running I wear Under Armour Hovr Phantom 2 in black and white, they are the comfiest and most supportive I've had.

midnightbluevelvet · 06/01/2022 20:15

Definitely Hokas! Like walking on a cloud

Milomonster · 07/01/2022 09:38

Adidas ultraboost. I feel like I’m walking on a cloud. I adore mine and will be getting another pair in the sales after 4 years of wear from my current pair (which still have loads of life in them). If budget allows, the Stella McCartney collaboration with Adidas Ultraboost is gorgeous - some really stylish colours.
