Anyone doing a make up no buy for 2022?

I have just got rid of loads of stuff I haven't used for years, stuff that's brand new and I hardly wear it.

But I am going to try to use what I have and enjoy it now I can get to it!

I'm also on mat leave so could do with not spending unnecessarily...

Omg the Instagram algorithm has it out for me. It's all beauty ads this morning, but I must resist.

On a related note - I want to use up the stuff I have, but don't think I've worn eyeshadow since about 2019 and I have a few untouched palettes. Any suggestions on Instagrammers etc. who do a good eyeshadow tutorial? I live in fear of my makeup getting trapped in 2012 for the next 20 years

@allfurcoatnoknickers on YouTube I like Lisa Eldridge, Robert Welsh and Pixiwoo (used to be good for tutorials) but I don't watch many tutorials. You might be able find tutorials related to the specific palettes you have if you search on YouTube

@DillDanding Maybe it takes time. I was addicted for years before I stopped buying because I realised I had so much and couldn't use it. Plus having used so much, I realised what my favourites of everything were and it's hard to top them.

So I nearly posted yesterday what I wasn't going to guy but then thought sharing the good deals I was tempted by might not he a great idea!!

But will be accountable if I spend on something - hopefully with reason ie run out

I think maybe I'm using a combo of protein and other bits - but I kind of panicked after I damaged my hair but luckily didn't do what I normally do in a salon which is buy every product in the salon and I had 3 products at home which worked.

I did buy something called Apoghee (I think) a treatment but reviews said it smelled vile and also took a long time to apply so I bypassed that!

My hair is so dry at the moment and it's curly so just looks like a frizzy mess.

I'm not sure what it needs. Maybe just some TLC!
