I love bags. I own a lot of them. I don't, however, have something that is perfect for everyday use.

It must have a long strap to be worn cross body. I like bags that sit at my hip. And some pockets would be nice but it doesn't have to have hundreds

I want something that looks smart but also works well with casual stuff

Am I looking for something that doesn't exist? Budget about £60 max.

I love Kipling bags. A lot can double as casual or business.

Mat & nat have some beautiful vegan cross body bags!

fossil their bags are amazing and can dress up or down.

Coach sutton hobo are great for a larger crossbody but seems to be out of stock. Guess and Radley also do reasonably priced everyday bags but I'd go to the outlet for those.

Have you looked at Hush sale? I have a couple of bags like you describe from there and they are my everyday wear ones but can be also dressed up.
They are usually around £100 but with the sale on you might find something you like.
