Botox or micro needling?

I am in my late 40s and my skin is just looking awful. I have some good lines of my forehead which are for the most part covered by a fringe! Fine lines around my eyes. But to be honest it's not the lines so much as my skin has just lost its glow. It just looks greyer and more flat. Not sure that's a great description.

Anyway I have been putting off getting anything done for a whole load of reasons but now I really think I just need something to make me just look healthier and better, not necessarily younger if that makes sense. Have read into Botox but also micro needling. Any recommendations as to what would be better, more long lasting or any other treatments that may suit me better??

For general glow - would highly recommend Profhilo.

A hyaluronic acid based injectable - so plumps out skin from within.

Neither will help your skin. I have Botox but only because I don’t want my forehead to lift in that startled rabbit look. I tried micro needling but I ended up with micro spots which flare up to this day. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Here’s the good news

  1. exfoliate - this will lift dull skin
  2. Vitamin C serum- this will brighten the skin
  3. Hyaluronic acid - to hydrate a d plump 4 spf spf spf
  4. drink water, eat fruit and get lots of sleep

All this is cheaper and more effective than cosmetic additions.

Profilo is great but it wears off quick so you need regular sessions at 3-500 quid a go
