I bought this coat the other day.
Please see pics for material etc.

My Daughter has slobbered all over it and it has left a little stain. I have tried to get it off with a jug of water/bit of fairy liquid (don't really know what I'm doing)!!

Anyway, it has just created more water marks and not really gotten rid of the slobber!

I don't want to put it in the washing machine as I find the "down" is never quite the same again.

Anyone that knows what they are doing, please help!

Need pic of stain

I would wash it at 30 on a quick wash then tumble dry it with tennis balls or dryer balls in the dryer on low to keep it fluffy

What do the instructions say 😂. I’d do that !

As the care instructions say, wash it and put it in the tumble drier.

I find that as long as down filled jackets are tumble dried they come up fine. I don’t think you’ve got any other options, especially given the light colour of your jacket.

You can buy special down wash or I use woolite liquid wash then you need to use tennis balls in a tumble dryer to stop the down from clumping together. I’ve worked at m&s and that’s what they recommend.
