Age spots on face help please

Hi,

I am late 50's and have recently developed an age spot on the side of my face.

I am not particularly vain but I'm not that happy with this, as it is very visible, so I wondered if anyone could kindly recommend a cream or something that will perhaps make it fade a little please?

Many thanks in advance and Happy New Year too Smile

Happy new year!

Exfoliation- someting like oats with honey or coffee grounds with coconut oil.
Glycolic acid or a retinoid should help. Not sure what strength is available but starting out light is a good idea

Laser treatment and or Trenton A
You MUST use sunscreen like crazy on it or it will come back/get darker after treatment

Try Dermatica. It’s the only thing that has helped my pretty bad Melasma. It’s a online dermatology prescription and much much cheaper than a private dermatologist. Skin & me also do a similar thing.

Thank you all so much for the helpful replies Smile

I shall take a look at your suggestions and will report back if any of them help.

Thank you again Smile

I found that Murad Rapid Dark Spot Corrector made a visible difference to the age spot on my face, it hasn't gone but it did lighten. Very expensive but can always be found with 20% off somewhere.
