Sheer pink nail varnish?

I'm looking for my holy grail of nail varnishes - basically a clear nail polish but with light pink tint. Nothing pearly or opaque at all -I want it to be sheer. I had one years ago that was a strengthener but can't remember what it was called now. All the ones I Google aren't what I want - even the nude-ish pinks you build up like essie etc aren't sheer/too pearly.

The closest I've seen is DIOR pink nail Glow but it's a bit pricey!

Any suggestions would be very gratefully received!

I was going to say nail glow but you've ruled that out. It is worth every penny in my view and a bottle lasts about a year of weekly use (one coat)

Mix a few drops of red polish with a clear top coat, works a treat

Dior Nail Glow is expensive but it's the business and lasts ages!

Essie mademoiselle, Essie have a great selection of colours so you might find ballet slippers or marshmallow work too

Not sure why so many people are recommending Essie when OP specifically said that's not what she wanted. If you look at the difference between Dior nail glow and any of the essie ones they are completely different - more translucent/pearly than clear with a pink tint.

There's one called le mini macaron nail brightener on look fantastic/asos which reviewers say is like the dior one? I haven't tried it yet but it's on my list.

Nail Glow is worth it, I wear it all the time.

Thanks everyone. I do like the essie ones but yeah I wanted something more sheer. I never would have thought of adding red to clear so will see if that works now, if not might try the macaron one. Although if the dior is that long lasting might be worth the cost.

OPI Bubble Bath is sheer, but maybe not as sheer as you're looking for. The Dior Glow stuff is very, very ... pink 😕

I saw a bottle of Mavala which was a clear varnish with a pink tint. I think it was 44 Natural? Small and cheap so not a big deal if it's no good.
