Brown mascara - that isn’t brown black?

I’m so fed up of wasting money buying ‘brown’ but when they arrive they are always brown black. I got one from ginger parrot but it wasn’t worth the money. Anyone found any?

Clarins also have one that is chocolatey, and so do Yves Saint Laurent. I have all three and they are pretty similar in colour, the YSL one maybe gives the best oomph .

I’ll check them too - just so hard finding one that’s not too dark. I often look at the brow mascara but the brush is too small for it to work as mascara.

I've been using this one for years. Definitely brown not brown black and cheap as chips, made me laugh when I looked up the link and saw there's a 3for 2 offer 😁

I found a brown one. Looked bloody awful!!

LakeFlyPie I’ve used that before but found it hard to build lashes with - might give it another go at that price though!! Use it as a base if not enough. Thank you!

Very fair skinned red head - been wearing mascara for nearly 30 years now so yes pretty sure - were you thinking burgundy?

Maybelline do a cocoa one that is brown.
