Help me with a capsule holiday wardrobe please!

First off, I hate shopping. Hate clothes shopping more. Am at least 3 stone overweight but frankly, would settle for 1.5st less. 5'3. Dark hair. Mid 30s (but frankly my own mother is more young minded than I am).

I'm going on my first abroad holiday (covid allowing) in the summer and the local will be hot, coastal, and may or may not include a vow renewal (my mother is dropping hints).

I dont suffer well in the heat Grin so clearly a good sun hat will be my lifeline.

But I need advice on what to pack, what would you buy and pack? Best fabrics to keep me cool, ideal layers etc.

Oh god, the clothes side of this is more stressful than anything else. Help!!

Natural fibres all the way

For a fortnight

3 cotton shirts / tops that can be washed out overnight
2 cotton trousers / skirts (but if you have any thigh rub go for trousers)
Shorts if you wear them
2 swimsuits
A beach cover up
Sunhat - avoid the straw ones treated so you can bend them, they are hotter than hell
Sunglasses
A non crease travel dress/top and skirt for restaurants etc (craghoppers or Patagonia - this might do for vows if you mum is being casual)
Another light evening top if you want variety

Cotton undies (sloggi are good)

Beach shoes for hot sand
Flat comfortable sandals for everyday
Evening Sandals

Have a great time
