Lego hair / Hairdresser terminology

Is there anyone out there that can describe how to request a haircut like Lea Seydoux's in that new advert for Spell On You pefume? It doesn't matter how I describe it or where I go - my hair always ends up looking like one of those Lego figurines. In fact, in lockdown when I cut my hair with clippers it looked less "blocky" somehow. It is like when they thin it out (very bushy, thick hair) it somehow angers it and makes it more hideous. Any hairdresser terminology I should be using or shall I face facts - I am destined forever to look like a plastic figurine?

Do you take a picture of the cut you want?

Always Dementedpixie. Doesn't make any difference sadly.
