Opinions on these brogues please?

I've had the Clarks Hamble Oaks before and although I like how they look, I found them very uncomfortable. I had an ancient pair from Russell & Bromley which I loved but they're falling to bits now (about 9 years old!) and I just can't afford to pay their prices at the moment.

Do these ones look OK? I usually wear them with ankle grazers or wide legged trousers. Not looking for exciting footwear btw, just something reasonably stylish, comfortable and functional.

I agree with you about Hamble Oaks; I find them clumpy and uncomfortable.

Have just ordered them. I don't really know the company but will see when they get here I suppose! I walk a LOT at work so comfort is the most important thing. X

I love them. I like nearly all brogues though.

I like, particularly the little flower pattern on the sides. I am a big fan of brogues, I have the silver hamble oaks and don’t find them comfy either, huge disappointment!

I've just had these customised brogues from Julia Bo delivered www.juliabo.com/ Just lovely quality and I specified this particular colour combination for autumn. I had also gone through a Hamble Oaks phase but they were no more than just OK - and annoyingly always set off the beeper at airport security.
Just wanted to show off and recommend.

They look good but I’d be a bit suspicious that the price seems so low for a leather shoe. Are they leather lined? I couldn’t see anywhere saying what the lining and sole are made of so I would assume they might be plastic lined which can defeat the object of a leather shoe.
