Help me find a necklace!

I really want a gold necklace to wear every day. Ideally 18K. I love this from Tiffany BUT I'm aware that with I'd be paying a premium for the name! Does anyone know where I could find something similar? I'm also in the market for a pair of matching earrings.

There are loads of these on ebay

Maybe consider doing what I did … buy the chain (I bought an 18ct chain in Dubai on hols but you could easily buy one here) then buy a pendant you love to put on it = perfect necklace but without the mark up.

Etsy might be worth a look - if you search ‘bean necklace’ and add ‘Tiffany style’ you will see various items. Same goes for ‘bean earrings’.

I'm not sure I'd trust buying an 18 carat gold necklace off eBay or etsy! Good idea for the necklace and pendant separately. I suppose what I was looking for was recommendations of jewellers/designers who do lovely simple designs like the Tiffany one, but without the markup associated with the Tiffany brand. I also love Georg Jensen as an example!

I'm a jeweller and we can often make similar things to tiffany or Boodles, for example, for a lot less (sometimes half or a third of the price) An independent jeweller could definitely get you a chain and advise what sort of pendant they could make within your budget.

Oo this sounds intriguing! I didn't realise this was something I could do, always assumed custom fine jewellery would be way out if my budget.

@TheBoots

An independent jewellers or workshop would hopefully work with your budget and design. The first question we ask a client (after establishing what item or design they would like) is how much would you like/have you got to spend, and then source the best we can get within their budget.(or as close as possible)

With Tiffany you are paying for their advertising, reputation, name and branding, luxurious shops in prime locations, probably a glass of champagne etc as well as the jewellery
