Buried blackhead

My 13 year old has a blackhead which is deep under the skin. We've tried squeezing it but it's still there! Is there anything which will bring it to the surface?

An extraction tool.

Hot flannel over the area or just after they’ve had a shower or a bath and press down with the extraction tool.

Hot flannel and a good scrub, to remove top layers. Sterilised needle and a good squeeze with fingered covered in tissue paper.

Lol I did consider sporners corner but wasn't sure if it's gory enough. My DD has already looked suspiciously at me when I suggested a needle and has made me purchase a product from Boots this afternoon- I think she knows I'll be getting a needle on her if not 🤣. She's in bath with said product on so we'll see what happens!

Have you tried the round bend of a kirby grip if you don't have an extraction tool..... You need to video this now btw

I am a self confessed sporner, DS has some corkers on his nose but rarely lets me squeeze them and wouldn’t let me anywhere near with a needle 😩

Youngest DS gets blackheads on his back quite a bit and I have a set of extraction tools I got from Amazon with which to set about him, truly the gift that keeps on giving.

Photos will have to wait until I remove my contact lenses as I can't see close up with them in 🤦🏼‍♀️

Erm , excuse me dd of @friedeggandsauce ; you need to let mum inspect, remove and dispose of the blackhead and she will buy you a family sized chocolate bar all for yourself! It's like having a covid jab, you are protecting yourself from the blackhead turning into a huge mostrosity of a spot , and protecting others by removing it.

D.m , have you got any savlon cream? This will draw out anything.That and hot flannel and then two earbuds eitherside, pressing under and then up . Film for educational purposes
