Pants again!

Right if one of my NY goals is to be more put together then I figured I may as well start with pants!

Anyone seen any recently that are

  • high waist/bum covering
  • nice colours
  • not too pricey.

Not that keen on sainsburys / m and s patterned cotton ones as they always seem to end up looking wash faded - am thinking of something a bit more sleek and attractive without being dental floss!

Following with interest as I recently bought some from Very that purported to be full briefs but tend to fold, gently but firmly, underneath my c-section overhang.

Midlifemission · 28/12/2021 19:25

Ooh this is a great question I need to buy pants too !
Such a good new year purchase !
I saw some recommended on here before that can be bought from Amazon but will have to hope another poster can remember their name

Nixbox · 28/12/2021 19:29

Wirarpa or Innersey - both from Amazon and on a long pants thread a few months ago

Yes I always have this issue - always roll into c section scar!

I have these, love them. I don't have a section scar but I do have a fat overhang and they stay up above that. Lovely soft fabric. Not so great with the colours though

MaybeHeIsMyCat · 28/12/2021 21:55

These are my fave. High waisted, don't roll and the lace makes them look nicer

Boody or Sloggi - can't beat them.

NeurologicallySpeaking · 28/12/2021 22:17

Argh out of stock in my size. Never heard of Boody

I always size up for pants, nothing worse than tight knickers. Costco pants are quite good, the waistbands come up nice and high. The seamless ones are particularly comfortable.

RosesAndHellebores · 28/12/2021 22:30

I like M&S Wild Bloom but I wear the bras as well. Not quite the quality of 3/4 years ago. I so wish M&S would increase the price and maintain the quality.

CoffeeBeansGalore · 28/12/2021 23:24

Asda have these lace top high leg multi packs. 100% cotton, soft lace. Really comfortable & look good.

Pants again!
CoffeeBeansGalore · 28/12/2021 23:26

Asda also do them in a multi colour pack and full brief & shorts style.

Pants again!

Wirarpa all the way. The pants of dreams. They are so comfy and secure and do not budge. They aren’t pretty pants though, more like mens y fronts (I’m selling it aren’t I?). But I will never go back.

They tumble dry too.

I bought them on Amazon, after being recommended them on here. Best thing I ever did. I have two packs of four, and I bought a Large (size 14 bum).

itsutterlyshit · 28/12/2021 23:30

I know you said no to M&S but they had lace one and silkier ones that fit the bill the last time I was in. I got the no VPL ones and they're fab. Wash well, good arse coverage that doesn't end up disappearing and giving you a wedgie and they are reasonably high waisted, definitely above section scar height

DameCelia · 28/12/2021 23:36

Wirarpa, the ones that look like men's Y fronts. Avoid the C section and don't ride up the bum.
Saw them recommended on here, bought a couple of pairs and went back for more.

MissOrganisedMe · 28/12/2021 23:46

Is it these ones?

Pants again!
WellTidy · 29/12/2021 05:58

Yes, those are the ones

NeurologicallySpeaking · 29/12/2021 08:08

Quite like the Boody ones. Might try the Wirapa without white bits.

The ones @MissOrganisedMe mentioned are amazing. Threw out all other pants after buying the first pack.
