Help me spend John Lewis vouchers please

I have £450 of John Lewis vouchers to spend, saved up across birthday and Christmas gifts. It’s been a horrid year, not just with COVID but I had to go through treatment for a serious illness and I’m feeling generally crap and guilty. Kids have all been treated so want to spend the whole lot on me.
I don’t need perfume/makeup etc. I want classic, timeless stuff that will last and can make me feel good, any tips?

I'd buy silk pyjamas and a really expensive throw/blanket to snuggle in, and if I had any left, some nice knickers.

But I work at home, don't have children, and don't go out that much - so bags, jewellery, smart coat etc would be rather wasted on me whereas those things might suit your lifestyle more.

Sorry about the crap year. Hope 2022 will be much better.

How about some nice luxurious bubble bath, my colleague bought me some Neom and it is lovely. Or maybe some expensive skin cream ? Also how about a nice cashmere jumper that is nice a snuggly.
Sorry that you have have been unwell, hope the new year is better for you ❤️

Good bedding.

A leather jacket, if that's your thing.

Cashmere jumper, cashmere socks, a small piece of jewellery, a course of beauty treatments (that you can take over a number of months).

I would look at my wardrobe first and make 3 lists; gap fillers, need replacing, wants ,then work from there.
I buy with longevity in mind so stuff like cashmere is always on my list but there is no point in buying another cashmere sweater if for example you need to replace a coat.

Oh wow!

Yes definitely nice bedding and fancy pjs

TheCatShatInTheHat · 28/12/2021 13:36

I'd go for either a bag, a watch or ipad.

Or loads of little things - nice wine glass, gloves, diary, bedding, bathrobe, slippers etc.

Thank you everyone, fab ideas! Thanks for kind wishes too, honestly means a lot. On top of everything else we are isolating as eldest has COVID so I’m climbing the walls wishing we could get out!

Wishing you good health in 2022.

I would get a Brora jumper and Toast pyjamas.
