Where have you been my whole life!?

Omg Shock

Does anyone else use this? I’m super impressed.

My hair is really curly and dry as fuck. This stuff is like magic.

Me! I'm on my first tube of the Hydrating Hair Mask and it's made a difference. My hair is very curly, very fine and very dry.

I didn't find the daily conditioner much use though.

I’ve not tried the mask yet. I’m using the hydrating cream conditioner and I create volume. Which is described as a lotion but is very weird and watery. It’s AMAZING. I was super disappointed as usually my hair likes a cream and when I opened it I thought it was going to be a bust. I was very wrong.

Ooh I’m glad you posted this as it’s next on my list of curly products to try (none of which have really worked so far) and I’m desperate for both hydration and volume.

I’d go so far as to say these are a game changer for me.

My usual brands are kinky-curly, Boucleme and ecoslay. I can see me ditching the Boucleme for innersense without a backwards glance.
Today I’ve got kinky-curly knot today as my leave in, then I create volume, followed by ecoslay orange marmalade and Jell-O shot mixed together.

I got a rock hard cast and it’s scrunched out to leave glossy soft curls with virtually no frizz.

I’m 3B/C curls, Caucasian.

Ah, my experience with them is mixed. I didn't get on with the shampoo and conditioner, the leave in conditioner gave me flash drying (thankfully just bought the travel size). I do really like the I create volume lotion as a lighter gel alternative. I like the foam but I can't use it too often as it builds up too much protein on me, weirdly it works really well on the rare occasion I blow dry my hair straight-ish. Innersense was initially the only gel I got on with but there was a difference in formulation between the travel size I tried and the full size I then purchased, the latter is much thicker and difficult to use. I prefer the gel from Treluxe much more, that sort of has the qualities of both the Innersense gel and I create volume in one.

Great to hear your experience @botemp thank you.

I’ve ordered the leave in and foam in travel size to try. Hopefully I don’t get flash drying, I hate it when that happens 😫

I’m 2c/3a with ringlets when the wash is a good one but fine hair, so it’s very limp on to top (think Weird Al Yankovich with long hair!)

I struggle with too much product so don’t often use leave-in, especially if using a cream styler (I have to water down Knot Today) but will use a little if I’m not using a thick cream.

I’m currently styling with a light spray of Curlsmith moisture reactivator, Pantene no.5 curl mousse and UG curl jelly, which is working ok but I really want volume!

I’m still working it all out to be honest. I have never been able to get much of a cast. My hair takes years to dry naturally and if I wash in the evening, it will still be sopping wet in the morning. I’m experimenting with diffusing at different at different points in the routine for different times etc. it’s a minefield!

I got the I create Lift Volumizing Foam but didn't get on with it. Maybe i wasn't applying enough, or correctly?

I have to switch shampoos regularly but I like The By Selina one. It seems to suit my hair.

I was initially a bit perplexed by the I create volume lotion but looked on YouTube and there are a few women showing their routines and apparently the whole line works best on very wet hair. I usually style on damp hair but started adding the volume one after my leave in in the shower.

I find the foam works best if you use not too much of it and keep it concentrated to the roots. It goes a bit weird on the ends of hair IME. Innersense products are definitely of a less is more philosophy.

The top down curl method is time consuming but it does get impressive results (for me anyhow), she uses the Innersense foam in the way I described above.

Thanks. I'll try that but probably won't buy it again. Glad I just bought the small sizes, although they're still not cheap!

Larchneedles · 28/12/2021 11:20

And botemp. Sorry, I just saw your reply after I posted.

I used too much I Create Volume this morning and have the world’s hardest cast 😂

MaggieCassidy · 29/12/2021 10:22

@Sexnotgender how did it turn out - a wonderfully cast curl or grubby with product residue?!

I’m always too frightened of the latter to put too much in but really think I don’t use enough. I hate a laborious wash day being ruined!!

Sexnotgender · 29/12/2021 10:46

@MaggieCassidy it gave beautiful frizz free curls. A tiny bit of residue but only because I really did use FAR too much and used other products on top.

👍 I’m going to be brave and double up when I wash tomorrow and see what happens!

I put it on in the shower after my leave in on dripping wet hair. It goes really slippery and glossy looking.
