Charlotte Tilsbury lippy.....awful!

I asked my OH for Charlotte Tilsbury Kim KW lipstick for Christmas as I love the shade....put it on today and its bloody awful stuff. Colour lovely but it doesn't stay on, doesn't sit evenly and looks cheap. Deffo not worth £25....feel robbed.

Anyone else think it's awful or is it just me?

Normally use mac and never have an issue

I've only tried CT lipstick. I love Bond Girl and Amazing Grace. Love both and quality is good.

I use Chanel boy or Cecile they are amazing. I have a few nars tinted balms and an origins minty gloss I’ve had CT pillow talk but it’s very drying.

Yep I was raging as I bought the CT lipstick to replace an amazing dior one which was running out. Similar colour but apparently more sustainable due to being refillable. Unfortunately it was also unusable 😕

I have a couple and they are fine. Main problem is that they transfer onto cups and glasses but any I have found that don't tend to be too drying on me.

I have bought a few CT products (lured in by the hype) and found them massively disappointing and over priced.

I've got the pillow talk lipstick. It goes on well and the colour suits me but it seems to ask half an hour tops!! My usual lipsticks are Boots No7 at a fraction of the price and have much better staying power.

I think all their stuff is overhyped rubbish to be honest.

Truly awful make-up. Massively overpriced and just not very good!

Rimmel quality in high end packaging. The mascara was especially horrific.

I got duped into buying a complete kit after rave reviews on here.......... even my teenage DD's wouldn't touch it.

If you want an amazing formula then try Chantecaille.

£££ but the holy grail of lipsticks - great staying power and moisturising at the same time.

I've used CT foundation, primer and lipstick before and wouldn't ever buy from them ever again. There's way better brands that cost the same as CT. For lipsticks, I go with HUDA Beauty and they had half price deals for Black Friday. Their foundation is also amazing and have continued buying from them.

Thanks for all the suggestions for an alternative 😀 I've tried it a couple more times (even with a liner) and it's the worst!

It isn't the matte one it's got a slight gloss to it so wasn't expecting it to last all day but past getting out of the house would be nice 🙄

I used to work near her flagship store, bought pillow talk lipstick and lipliner and was distinctly unimpressed by it! They have very good SAs/MUAs though.

@RJnomore1 - you’re right re quality. Was on a date last night wearing new Dior red lipstick and that lasted so well. Especially when compared to CT.
