What jacket with coated jeans?

Love my black coated jeans... so far I've either gone coatless or worn a faux fur jacket. Would normally wear a leather biker jacket with jeans/dressy top or a denim jacket with a casual dress.

None of my coats/jackets seem to work. Hit me with your style please!

I like coated jeans with a classic camel coat, slightly oversized. Also a long khaki green puffa.

I wear mine with an oversized deep red faux fur coat or a charcoal grey wool coat.

Slightly off topic op but where are the coated jeans from? Boden have some but not sure if they’ll come up small/ tight.

My jeans are from Next - they're not as thick as I'd like, the material is a bit stretchy, but they fit well. I wear mine with a long black or grey wool coat. I find they don't look good at all with a leather jacket - just too much black shine.

I wonder what sort of coat will look good going into Spring?

They also look good with an oversized blazer or a trench coat in spring.

I don’t like them with a leather jacket either - too biker or rocker for my style! I prefer with a classic wool blazer or coat. They also look amazing with an oversized knit or sweatshirt.

Do you have the Boden coated jeans too perchance? I’m desperate to know if they’re tighter than the normal jeans in the same range (high waisted skinny button fly).

@YouSetTheTone sorry no, mine are M&S. Could you buy two sizes and return one? I find Boden fairly consistent in their sizing so you might be OK.

@DramaAlpaca that is a very sensible solution and I probably should do that! I’m so bloody lazy about the prospect of returning stuff that I agonise and usually end up not bothering to order (it’s at least kind on my bank balance!).

I think Boden do free returns in the UK don't they? I'm in the EU and it costs €10.95 so I have to buy very carefully.

Careful purchasing for you indeed! I guess at least if the size is right you’re less likely to come across someone wearing the same item!
