Lace up boots ? Docs but cheaper?

Been shopping today and tried on some cute kids ones in schuh but too narrow, though perfect style. I would like lace up boots akin to a doc or a chunky Chelsea but not super chunky. I'm size 3-4. Clark's I'd be 4 but next I'd be 36.
I'll find a pic of the ones I liked today too.
I need some I can walk in easily.

DD bought some nice ones in New Look - they have several different styles there of lace up boot.

You could get kids sized docs and they will be cheaper? I did find them a little too narrow though so may have to size up. They also don't have as many styles as the adults.

If you like docs but don’t want to spend the ££ (and they are expensive!) have a look on eBay, lots of people sell them on and they’re really hard wearing so a second hand pair will last ages & be worn in so comfier!

Matalan had some that aren't narrow, are real leather, and have the side zip for quick on/off.

They were £35, I bought a pair last month from a recommendation on here

Have a look on Emp, they do some DM look a likes in different colours but also black.

I have just bought the ones in your photo for dd, she’s a size 3, I’m hoping they fit her, she hates trying shoes on so I ordered them in hope they fit (if not I will send them back).

Oh brill. Thanks all. Been shopping this afternoon briefly and found really comfy ones in New look but they were too long as in too high up my legs so I'll check these out.

I have these from Next. Had them for about a year now and they are amazingly comfy. I've worn them to death but they still look great. They have velvet laces but also a side zip

As a PP said can you do kids size? I have a friend who does this, very jealous as she saves half the cost 😭 I'm currently coveting a £170 pair and trying to justify - need a sale site if anyone has one 😅

I also have the next ones mentioned by a pp and they're ridiculously comfy! No wearing in required at all.

Think I'll get the next ones. Bought these but still hankering after ones without a buckle. Hmmm 🤔
