Recommend me a toner for newly bleached hair please?

I've been working my way up from a dyed dark red/medium brown natural hair to a highlighted medium ashy blonde. My hair was holding on to a fair bit of red tone which manifests as a gingery tone.

Which I wasn't fussed about as it is a process, but then got carried away and have done a home bleach 😂 am now very light, but still with some orange patches. Will do a second batch on the worst bits tomorrow.

However, I'd then like to put a toner through it, or maybe a dye to act as a toner, to knock out the orange and add a little depth.

Any suggestions?

Oh gosh careful with the bleach OP.

Finola no orange shampoo is great. Maybe try that first before putting on more bleach? Amazon prime it'll be with you tomorrow. It really is great stuff for my hair.

I agree with Finola and I also use the Kerastase mask in purple packaging as it knocks every bit of brassiness out and deeply moisturises at the same time.

Josh Wood gloss

Go careful with the bleach. My hairdresser did mine and my hair turned to straw. It became very brittle and damaged.

In answer to the toner question though - she always put a violet toner through mine after the bleach and it would go a beautiful platinum.

(I've gone back to the dark red now but I'm sure I still have a before and after pic somewhere!)

Found it!

The red was before and the blonde is after. Took about 3 hours in total and the blonde is after the violet toner had been done as it was a bit orange at first.

I like the L'Oréal dialight range. They are semi's and supposed to be gentle. I've used colour touch too. I just prefer the dialight milkshake colours. I also have shrine drop it which I mix a few drops in with my usual conditioner to make my own purple one.

I’ve been getting my reddy brown hair highlighted ( heavily) for a few months now abs and swear by this shampoo and conditioner. It’s cheap too from Savers/ Home Bargains . My hairdresser said my colour had stayed quite silver in between visits. www.amazon.co.uk/PROVOKE-Touch-Silver-Brightening-Shampoo/dp/B07NCT99W8/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?rdc=1&keywords=silver+hair+shampoo&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1640685426&sr=8-7

Thanks all. Condition seems fine at the moment, so may just run a toner through or maybe a semi permanent ashy blonde.
