Le Pliage - short or long handles?

Okay the most boring thread probably !

However I'm after one of the Le Pliage bags for work / essentials for travel and can't decide between the long handles so I could also carry over my shoulder or the short handles and wondered if anyone who has one based on experience has any thoughts ? TIA

It’s only 30x30 cm so a handbag. I thought the OP wanted overnight and work. I think the shoulder bags are nice enough but you won’t get much in them.

Oooh good for you ,I did have a cheeky look on the le pliage website and have ordered a small with short handles I've had my eye on for a bit now. The fact it was on sale swayed me completely and I'm not even the slightest bit ashamed 🤣🤣

Longchamp leather bags in their sale are very good value!

Long…. I’ve got loads, all long. I have a huge travel bag hold-all thing with short handles and it annoys me to use it because it doesn’t have long handles.

I'm so easily led! On the back of this thread, I was within a gnat's bollocks of clicking on "confirm purchase" when I realised I have a very similar bag from Brakeburn. I bought it about 18 months ago and only used it for the first time yesterday for an overnight stay. I therefore feel qualified to answer: long handles

(I also found a lovely new pink scarf in it which I'd also forgotten about )

I have several L K Bennett bags snd I find them excellent. Just as good as more expensive brands. High quality hardware and they last!

Came back on to update taht I went for the large shoulder bag with long handle sin bilberry + as it was a good offer (!) the larg travel bag in same colour .... if I use them half as much as the rucksacks they will get tonnes of use :-)
