For those that miss Blisteze repair cream I the metal tube

I can highly recommend o keefes overnight balm but used throughout the day.Had the worst cracked lips ever yesterday and now they're totally healed!

The blistex cream is pretty good too but I can only get it on Amazon now

I've switched to Cymex in the little metal tube. It's an ok substitute but not a patch on Blistex

Blistex relief cream? Everyone thought it had been discontinued but they posted an update on Facebook that something had gone into administration (?manufacturer) so it needed to be approved by the MHRA as it's a medicine. Available in the UK again.

Blistex is available again in the UK - Savers and Home Bargains are where you can find it.

Ah had a little research on their facebook page.

Production WAS stopped for a while (one of their bodies went into administration and it needed to hoop jump thru regularions again) but its been for sale again the last month in savers and home bargins ! They're looking to get back into pharmacies.

So savers and home bargins!

The previous manufacturer of Blisteze/Blistex went into receivership. I had heard that it was back with a new manufacturer but I’m not sure about the metal tube. I know that the old manufacturer struggled to make the metal tube correctly - the crimp at the end, I think, and I had noticed that the tubes sometimes leaked from there - so maybe they have just decided that it’s too difficult to manufacture it.
