Where can I find statement silver earrings

TurtleOnMyKnees · 26/12/2021 12:43

I’d like a pair of silver earrings that will stand out on video/camera. I have quite dark curly hair which means that delicate earrings often disappear on me, so I’d like a pair with some appearance without being enormous.
Any suggestions for where to look? I’m not in the UK so needs to ship internationally.

Some details: must be drop earrings, not large stud style. Real sterling silver, budget up to £150, could go a bit more if I really really love them. Preferably not round as I don’t think that’s the best shape for me. Even better if there’s a subtle Scottish/Celtic connection to the design.
All ideas much appreciated!

I love John Garland silver jewellery. I have a couple of his beautiful bangles and a pair of earrings. The quality is fab.

Have a look on Etsy. You should be able to find a good selection of handcrafted silver jewellery. I would imagine something on there will match with what you are looking for.

Alexis Dove's@ earrings usually come in silver as well as gold vermeil - for example:

Thanks for the suggestions; I haven’t come across John Garland and Alexis Dove before.

I’ve bought a lot of jewellery on Etsy but haven’t had any luck there yet for this mission. Maybe I need to mix up my sewrch terms.

Off for some happy browsing!

Try here, if you can’t see what you like, Sophie makes to order and is very reasonable. www.sophiemeredith.co.uk/silver-earrings?page=2

Saw these on Etsy which look chunky and slightly Celtic in their design. Any good?

Try Ortak, they're based on Orkney and do lots of lovely Celtic designs, amongst other beautiful things.

Loveness Lee? A bit abstract so even the rounder designs aren’t round (if that makes sense?). Recycled materials too. They’ve got a sample sale on at the moment but with your budget I think you could get something from the main line?

HumourReplacementTherapy · 27/12/2021 19:22

Some Shaun leane talons or hooks.
DH bought me some for Xmas. They are gorgeous! I also have dark curly hair. These are mine;
