Foundation recommendations for 40+ please!

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. Wondered if anyone could recommend a foundation which suits over 40 skin?

I used L’Oréal true match in Ivory for years, but once I hit 40 it seemed to settle in wrinkles and exaggerate them. I thought maybe a BB cream would be better so switched to No 7 Beautiful Skin BB cream but this doesn’t give enough coverage and I look grey and ill in photos (am naturally really pasty).

Any recommendations for what I could try? Price point is fairly low as you can see by the products above, but I would spend more for a really great product.

Thanks!

No 7 HydraLuminous Moisturising Foundation

I discovered this from Mumsnet and have used it ever since. Apply with a damp sponge gives lovely look.

Have you tried the True Match Nude Tinted Serum? It's lighter than the original foundation and goes on beautifully

No problem! Report back and let us know how you get on! They often have good offers on as well like 3 for 2 etc.

Hi OP. I wear Dior Serum. It’s pricey but I’m sure there are other serum foundations out there. I really like that it doesn’t settle in lines or look cakey but gives decent coverage. I just make sure a use a decent concealer for dark under eyes.

In my 20s - 40s I always wore the lightest colour available. Usually Ivory but found as I got older I needed a little more warmth so I’m not usually second lightest shade now x

Came on to say No 7 hydraluminous and see someone else already has - it's great!

Just checked the ingredients and it's not paraben free Sad
