What are you looking for in the sales?

Because it's always fun to hear other people's must buys for the year. I think mine are:

• really chunky soled loafers, poss from Cos or Kin
• coloured trainers - Nike/New Balance
• slim leather trousers.

I'm looking for new bed linen. Dh got me a gorgeous everyday hoodie for Christmas. It's got a cross over neck and thumb holes so I'm going to see if I can get it in more colours.

I've a question about leather trousers. Do the knees not go very baggy? I love them but I'd be worried about the knees.

I'm after an orange jumper - saw one in M&S but I think its their Cashmilon range which pills like billy-o

I might take a punt on it and acept I'm going to have to de-pill it

(I bought myself some scarves ....indoor scarves ..... so I'll see what plain jumpers I have in the wardrobe )

Waiting for the All Saints 2 in 1 dresses to go in the sale properly too as I love them but can't justify the non-sale price.

I have got 3 half price cashmere cardigans and short sleeved jumpers in sale at Boden and one of their skirts with 60% off. Wanting things as soft as possible as just had mastectomy for breast cancer so very happy with that. Currently living in a fleece koala onesie but can't take it out.

I just bought a lovely pair of navy and white star pyjamas in the John Lewis sale and I would really like to find some barrel leg wool trousers but don't know where to look as the only ones I really love are in Me&Em and are way out of my price range.
Also really want some extra long boot socks in an oatmeal colour. Am also going to look at make-up sales as I need new mascara and bronzer.

@EllaPaella barrel leg wool trousers sound lovely, please let us know if you find any as Me&Em is also out of my price range!

I was hoping for a JL cashmere cardio but not reduced nor the shoes I want

• woolly hat and scarf
• some sort of sweatshirt / hoodie
• flattering everyday dresses for end of winter into spring

I’ve bought too much. Didrikson parka and some Hobbs stuff in the Next online sale, all half price. Also spent £££ on Brora in the John Lewis sale. I’ve lost quite a lot of weight this year so had to replace everything. That’s it now.

@EllaPaella you are impossibly stylish and slim. I follow your posts and almost weep! I bet you look fab in your new pjs.

I’ve bought the m&s leather trousers linked above, and am very happy with them. And I’ve got some Oliver Sweeney and some joules hiker boots coming which I shall hopefully choose between. Fit flops sandals which don’t look like fit flops for summer, and a ski jacket for dh. I need some walking boots too.

I'm in the market for new PJs to but for some weird reason I'm incredibly fussy with them. I'm also being a bit tight because I want breathable fabric but don't want to pay the price for it 🤦‍♀️ I don't know why but I always struggle finding nightwear that I like.

I have some gaps in my wardrobe I would like to fill/worn out items I need to replace and a few more frivolous items I don’t need but would really like.

Sensible wants:

• Black crew neck jumper, slim fitting but not tight, ideally merino or cashmere
• Long black boots, either properly knee high or slightly over the knee
• Black slouchy beanie

Frivolous wants:

• A really beautiful coat, I always love a coat in the sales
• Heavy weight black biker jacket to upgrade the cheap, lightweight one I am currently wearing to death
• Some more office clothes for my new role, even though I have no idea when I will be back in the office again

@BangingOn think initissimi here has Merino/cashmere crew neck jumpers not sure what the quality is like as never bought form them but have ordered a few bits so I'll soon find out!
